Texsan Heart Hospital's CV Stat is an emergency referral and transfer program that allows hospitals and physicians to connect with the emergency cardiac services provided by Texsan. CV Stat's phone is staffed and answered by nurses ready to coordinate with physicians in the diagnosis and delivery of care - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Texsan's CV Stat nurses offer immediate physician consultation, arrange for admission and facilitate in patient transfer assistance.

By having a team whose job is to help people in outlying areas - from Del Rio to Laredo to Kerrville - receive cardiac care, Texsan is helping to increase a patient's chances of survival by providing 24/7 access to cardiac resources.

The CV Stat program also coordinates with Texsan's admitting staff, emergency room nurses and local cardiologists to ensure proper care is provided as quickly as possible.
